Dr. Kyle M. Stein
Dr. Kyle M. Stein, DDS, FACS, has resided in the Iowa City area for over 20 years. Originally from Griswold, Iowa, he attended the University of Iowa for his undergraduate, dental, and oral surgery studies. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2009, his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery certificate in 2013, and was a faculty member at the University of Iowa from 2013-2022.
Dr. Stein practices a broad scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery, including outpatient sedation/general anesthesia, dentoalveolar surgery, dental implant surgery, hard and soft tissue grafting, orthognathic surgery, pathology, reconstruction, oral and maxillofacial trauma, management of odontogenic infections, and microsurgical nerve repair.
Dr. Stein is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is a member of numerous professional organizations including, but not limited to, the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Iowa Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the American Dental Association. He has served in numerous roles and committees, including President of the Iowa Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is the author of over a dozen peer reviewed publications.
Dr. Stein and his wife, Dr. Jill Stein are proud parents of two daughters, Emma and Julia. In his free time, he enjoys attending his daughters’ activities, running, cycling, Iowa Hawkeye athletics, yard work, and spending time with family and friends.
He is excited to be opening North Liberty Oral Surgery & Dental Implants and continuing to serve the community.
